Job summary
Novus Property Solutions is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join the Planned works division, delivering high-quality gas repair and replacement services within Social Housing properties. You will work site-based across Wrexham to Hereford with a 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, including some travel time.
In this role you will inspect and repair gas systems, issue certificates, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Qualified gas engineer with social housing experience and ability to carry out isolation, pipe work alterations, and appliance reconnection.
- Gas-safe registration and relevant CKR1/CCN1/CENWAT/HTR1 certifications required; DBS checks may be needed.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to work in occupied properties with safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic gas work, including isolation, pipe work alterations and appliance reconnections.
- Inspect gas installations, produce certificates and complete required paperwork.
- Work in occupied social housing properties, manage day-to-day workload and maintain high safety standards.
