Job summary

ECO Approach Ltd. is expanding its Retrofit Division in the Northwest from Preston, seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to install, maintain and repair gas systems and appliances for clients.

You will perform safety checks, diagnose faults, and advise on gas usage with a strong emphasis on compliance and quality. This part-time contract focuses on safe, professional service and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar gas engineering role.
• Qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 required.
• Knowledge of gas systems, boilers, heaters and cookers.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair gas systems and appliances.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to meet standards.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients

Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
• Provide advice and guidance to clients on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members
