Job summary

ECO Approach Ltd is hiring a qualified Gas Engineer to install, maintain and repair gas systems for clients across the Northwest from Preston. You will work on boilers, heaters and cookers, perform safety checks and keep clear records of all work.

The role requires CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 qualifications, at least 2 years’ experience, own van and tools, a full UK driving licence, and a clean DBS. Full van stock provided; minimum three days per week commitment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar gas engineer role.
• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 qualifications are required.
• Own van and tools, full UK driving licence, and a clean DBS.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances including boilers, heaters and cookers.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems meet safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, identifying and resolving defects.
• Provide guidance to clients on use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all work carried out.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and team members.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients

Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
• Provide advice and guidance to clients on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 required
