Job summary

CMS - Recruitment is seeking Domestic Gas Engineers for a large housing maintenance specialist with extensive work in NW, W, SL and GU areas. You will service and repair domestic gas boilers and handle breakdowns to keep properties running smoothly.

The role includes one day per week on-call with weekend coverage; out-of-hours for major leaks after 10pm and overtime at standard rates. ACS qualifications (CENWAT, CCN, CKR, HTR) are required, with ASHP/OFTEC/LPG desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold domestic ACS qualifications for CENWAT, CCN, CKR, HTR.
• Qualifications in ASHP, OFTEC or LPG are desirable and may increase salary banding.

Responsibilities

Domestic Gas Engineers required for large housing maintenance specialist with lots of work in NW, W, SL, GU areas. Suitable candidates must be competent with breakdown and servicing on all domestic gas boilers.

There is a requirement for all of the engineers in the team to cover callout. This is 1 day per week, every week and rolling including weekend days. Out of hours are 24hr, however after 10pm will only be for major water leaks. These are paid at 40 incomplete and 50 for completions. Overtime works at 1.5 hour rate travel to job and time to complete. There are also opportunities for training and development.

Suitable gas engineers must hold domestic ACS qualifications for CENWAT, CCN, CKR,HTR. Qualifications in ASHP, OFTEC or LPG are also desired and will increase the salary banding offered, but are not essential.
