Job summary

CMS - Recruitment is seeking a Gas Engineer for domestic service and breakdown work across SS postcodes. The role covers servicing and breakdown of domestic gas boilers, with a weekly callout requirement and occasional out-of-hours on major water leaks.

A company van is provided, salary around 42k with typical earnings 50-55k, and excellent benefits, plus training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be competent with breakdown and servicing on domestic gas boilers.
• Based in SS postcodes with coverage of callouts.
• Overtime and out-of-hours work as described, with paid rates.
• ACS qualifications (CENWAT, CCN, CKR, HTR) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform domestic gas boiler servicing and breakdown work.
• Take weekly callouts (1 day per week, rolling).
• Assist with overtime when required and respond to major leaks after hours as specified.
• Attend training and development opportunities.
