We are looking to recruit a Gas Engineer to join our team in Westminster Gas on a full-time basis for the late shift, which operates on a pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off. The late shift runs from 1pm to 10pm. Call outs after 10pm may be required, with an additional rate of £25 for completed jobs and £15 for non-completed jobs.
You will deliver high-quality technical services, including gas servicing, repairs, or installations in occupied properties, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and procedures. The majority of tasks will involve breakdowns, with occasional servicing, including gas repairs such as radiator and valve replacements, small gas runs, and meter cap offs.
You will use a handheld device (full training provided) to receive and complete tasks efficiently and safely, aiming for excellent customer experience.
Applicants should have prior experience in the gas industry and hold current ACS certifications in CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, and Level 3 NVQ or equivalent City and Guilds. Additional skills in domestic plumbing, asbestos awareness, or DAH1 are advantageous but not essential. A valid UK driving license for at least 12 months is required, as a company vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
