An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Gas Engineer to join their Westminster team on a full-time basis. Permanent - Full Time
We are looking to recruit a Gas Engineer to join our team in Westminster Gas on a full-time basis for the late shift, which runs on a shift pattern with 4 days on and 4 days off. The late shift is between 1pm-10pm. You may receive call outs outside of hours after 10pm, which will be paid at an additional rate: £25 for completed jobs and £15 for non-completed jobs.
Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll carry out a variety of technical service tasks, including gas servicing, repairs, or installations in occupied properties. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while complying with relevant regulations, standards, and organisational procedures.
The role will primarily involve responding to breakdowns, but you will occasionally undertake servicing tasks. In properties, you will be asked to carry out all gas repairs such as radiator and radiator valve replacements, small gas runs, and gas meter cap offs.
You will receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practices to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Candidates should have previous experience working within the gas industry and hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, and a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent City and Guilds qualification.
