Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a skilled gas maintenance technician to service domestic properties across the York region. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and complete maintenance to ensure safe, efficient heating and hot water systems while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

The role requires CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 qualifications and a valid UK driving licence, with a focus on gas safety and standards.

Qualifications

Salary: £17.33 per hour (£36,046 annually) Location: York
- covering all YO postcodes Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 40 Working pattern: Monday to Friday with on-call requirements Holiday entitlement : 20 Bank Holidays (increases with service) About the role Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes.

You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

What you'll be doing Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually What we're looking for Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications.
