Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Gas Engineer for Chippenham with responsibilities including servicing, fault finding, and repairing domestic boilers. You’ll install, upgrade and test heating systems while maintaining compliance and accurate digital records.

The role offers a company vehicle, fuel card, healthcare, and ongoing stability as a permanent position in a growing business. Salary ranges from £40,000 to £45,000 per year.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic heating
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic boiler servicing, fault finding, repairs and breakdowns across customer properties.
• Complete safety checks, appliance testing and certification in line with current regulations.
• Install, replace and upgrade domestic heating systems, including boilers, controls and associated components.
• Accurately complete job reports, compliance paperwork and updates using digital systems/PDA technology.

I’d be keen to see applications from anyone with experience in general building trades, whether you’ve previously worked as a Domestic Heating Installer, Gas Service Engineer, or Boiler Installer.

As a Gas Engineer you will be:

• Carry out domestic boiler servicing, fault finding, repairs and breakdowns across customer properties.
• Complete safety checks, appliance testing and certification in line with current regulations.
• Install, replace and upgrade domestic heating systems, including boilers, controls and associated components.
• Accurately complete job reports, compliance paperwork and updates using digital systems/PDA technology.

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within the domestic heating sector
• Proven experience carrying out servicing, breakdowns, repairs and/or installations within domestic properties
• Hold a full UK driving licence
