Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer in Preston to join a leading heating and boiler manufacturer. The role covers servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across the Preston area with a competitive £44,000+ salary and bonuses.

You will perform maintenance checks, ensure Gas Safety compliance, and provide excellent customer service while building long-term client relationships. The position is full-time and permanent with a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• CCN1 and ACS qualifications required.
• Gas Safe Registered and experience in gas servicing.
• Full UK driving licence and domestic heating system experience.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a leading heating and boiler manufacturer.

You will carry out servicing, breakdowns and repairs across the Preston area, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out gas boiler servicing and breakdown repairs.


• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and safely.


• Service domestic boilers and heating systems.


• Complete maintenance and safety checks.


• Provide excellent customer service.


• Complete job reports and paperwork.


• Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety regulations.

Requirements

• CCN1 and relevant ACS qualifications.


• Previous gas servicing and breakdown experience.


• Strong fault-finding skills.


• Gas Safe Registered.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Experience with domestic heating systems.
