Job description

We are seeking a Gas Engineer to work with a range of Mitie clients. Your duties will include PPM and Reactive Maintenance, covering fabric and basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract. You will ensure all tasks comply with legislative standards and that all paperwork is completed and submitted accurately.

You will also be responsible for carrying out remedial, reactive, and emergency tasks within designated timescales, using a PDA for operations. The role requires flexibility to work on an on-call rota. You may need to assist other team members or follow instructions from a Supervisor or Contract Manager, proactively identifying additional opportunities or works on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• C&G or NVQ Level 2/3 or Equivalent
• Experience in Maintenance, Testing, and Fault Finding on equipment such as boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, switchgear, generators, small power, and lighting (where applicable)
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Safe Working Practices
