Job summary

Fraser Edwards is seeking a Gas Engineer to service domestic properties in the Preston area. You will perform gas and plumbing repairs, gas safety inspections, fault finding, and emergency work as part of a callout rota.

The ideal candidate holds ACS Gas Safe qualifications (CCN1, CENTWAT1, CRK1) and a Full UK Driving License. A van, fuel card, pension, and life insurance are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• ACS Gas Safe qualifications (CCN1, CENTWAT1, CRK1) are required.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Experience with domestic gas and plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out response maintenance repairs to domestic boilers and systems in occupied and void properties.
• Undertake all aspects of domestic gas and plumbing repairs.
• Perform gas safety inspections in tenanted and void properties.
• Conduct testing checks and leak remediation.
• Perform Landlord Safety Checks and emergency repairs.
• Fault finding and callout participation on a rota.

Fraser Edwards are currently hiring for a Gas Engineer for our client who are a well respected construction contractor who undertake all property related works on domestic properties across the Preston and surrounding area and is a great opportunity to join a well established business.

Main Duties:

• Experience carrying out response maintenance repairs to domestic boilers/systems in occupied and void properties
• Proven experience of undertaking all aspects of domestic gas and plumbing repairs
• Completing gas safety inspections within tenanted and void properties
• Testing checks and stopping leaks
• Landlord Safety Checks
• Emergency Repairs
• Fault Finding
• Callout Rota - All operatives are required to participate in the callout rota.

Ideal Candidate:

• Full UK Driving License
• ACS Gas Safe - CCN1, CENTWAT1, CRK1
