Job summary

Fraser Edwards is currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join a growing Social Housing Contractor. You will service and repair gas boilers, cookers, and fires, and perform annual gas safety checks in occupied properties.

The role requires ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 or equivalent), proven domestic gas work experience, and a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will work with Gas Safe standards and provide a professional service to tenants.

Qualifications

• ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 or equivalent)
• Experience servicing boilers, cookers and gas fires on domestic appliances
• Experience in social housing or domestic gas work
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of gas safety and industry compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining gas boilers, cookers and gas fires.
• Carrying out annual gas safety checks in occupied social housing properties.
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs on domestic gas appliances.
• Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations.
• Completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants.
• Working independently to manage daily workloads and appointments
