Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Gas Engineer to join the team on-site. The role involves completing statutory inspections of gas appliances, performing reactive repairs, and overseeing annual maintenance of the gas network across sites under contract.

The candidate should hold relevant gas qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT) and have 5–10 years of experience with large commercial boilers and AHUs. Proficiency with Word/Excel is advantageous.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT certificates or equivalent gas qualifications.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience on large commercial boilers and direct fired AHUs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory inspections of gas appliances on site.
• Perform reactive repairs on gas appliances and plant on site.
• Oversee annual maintenance of gas network across the site/contract.
• Ensure gas certifications are up to date and compliant.
• Support other gas-related tasks as required while maintaining professional image.

Purpose of the Job

To complete maintenance and reactive repairs on the gas equipment and associated plant on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing Statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Overseeing Annual maintenance of Gas Network across the group
• Annual auditing of Gas maintenance of all site venues on contract
• Ensure all gas certification is up to date
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed
• Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.

• 5-10 Years Experience in a similar Role
• Experience on working on large commercial boilers
• Experience on work on Direct fired AHU’s
• Experience on commercial catering gas a bonus
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Organised and disciplined approach to work giving careful attention to detail
• Computer literate – Word, Excel
