Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is recruiting a Gas Engineer to join the Exeter team. The role covers maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment and plant onsite within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions.

You will conduct statutory inspections, manage annual gas network maintenance, and ensure all certifications are up to date. A strong communication style and meticulous, organised approach are essential for success in this client-facing role.

Qualifications

• Gas engineer with CCN1/CEN1/COCN1/CCCN1/CIGA1/CDGA/CIGA/COMCAT certifications.
• 5–10 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience on large commercial boilers.
• Experience on direct fired AHUs.
• Commercial catering gas experience is a bonus.
• Strong communication at all levels.
• Organised and disciplined with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant.
• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant.
• Oversee annual maintenance of gas network across the site group.
• Annual auditing of gas maintenance across all site venues on contract.
• Ensure all gas certification is up to date.
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed.
• Maintain professional image of CBRE to clients and visitors; deliver excellent customer service.

Purpose of the Job

To complete maintenance and reactive repairs on the gas equipment and associated plant on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing Statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Overseeing Annual maintenance of Gas Network across the group
• Annual auditing of Gas maintenance of all site venues on contract
• Ensure all gas certification is up to date

• 5-10 Years Experience in a similar Role
• Experience on working on large commercial boilers

• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Organised and disciplined approach to work giving careful attention to detail
• Computer literate – Word, Excel
