Job summary

Invictus Recruitment seeks a Commercial Gas Engineer in Bristol to perform statutory inspections, reactive repairs, and oversee gas maintenance across sites. You will ensure certifications are current and coordinate related tasks with professionalism.

Experience with large commercial boilers and AHUs is essential; gas catering experience is a bonus. Strong communication and organisation are required, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications CCN1/CEN1/COCN1/CCCN1/CIGA1/CDGA/CIGA/COMCAT
• 5–10 years in a similar role
• Experience on large commercial boilers
• Experience on direct fired AHUs
• Experience in commercial catering gas is a bonus
• Able to communicate at all levels
• Organised, detail‑oriented and disciplined
• Computer literate (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Complete statutory inspections on gas appliances and plant on site
• Carry out reactive repairs on gas appliances on site
• Oversee annual maintenance of gas network across the group
• Audit gas maintenance across venues on contract
• Ensure gas certifications are up to date
• Assist on other site tasks within skill set as needed
• Present a professional image to clients and visitors with excellent service

Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £49k plus van and fuel card

Purpose of the Job

To complete maintenance and reactive repairs on the gas equipment and associated plant on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing Statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Overseeing Annual maintenance of Gas Network across the group
• Annual auditing of Gas maintenance of all site venues on contract
• Ensure all gas certification is up to date
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed
• Ensure a professional image of the company is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.

• 2.5-10 Years Experience in a similar Role
