Job summary

Invictus Recruitment seeks a Commercial Gas Engineer to perform maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment and plant on site in the Bristol area. The role includes statutory inspections, repairs, and overseeing annual maintenance across multiple venues.

Ideal candidates have extensive gas qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT) and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications listed: CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA and COMCAT are required.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience on large commercial boilers.
• Experience working on Direct fired AHUs.
• Commercial catering gas experience is a bonus.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.

Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £49k plus van and fuel card

Purpose of the Job

To complete maintenance and reactive repairs on the gas equipment and associated plant on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing Statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Overseeing Annual maintenance of Gas Network across the group
• Annual auditing of Gas maintenance of all site venues on contract
• Ensure all gas certification is up to date
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed
• Ensure a professional image of the company is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
