Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting a permanent Gas Engineer to service, maintain and install gas systems in tenanted and void social housing properties across Huntingdon and surrounding areas. A company van, fuel card and tools are provided from day one, with uniform, PPE and a tablet and phone.

You'll work in a team or solo, on-call rota as needed, while upholding safety and compliance. Benefits include 35 days leave, pension matching to 7%, overtime, and a salary of £46,500–£49,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration is required.
• Domestic ACS certification preferred.
• Experience working in social housing or property maintenance is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Completing gas servicing, maintenance and installations in tenanted and void properties.
• Part of call out rota when required.
• Working independently or as part of a trades team.
• Engaging with tenants and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
