Job summary

RGR is recruiting a Gas Engineer to service and repair boilers across commercial environments in Surrey and surrounding areas. The role will involve mobile work at schools, care homes, pubs and restaurants within a 50-mile radius.

Applicants should hold ACS Domestic Gas CCN1; ACS Commercial COCN1 CODNCO1 preferred; COMCAT is a plus. Driving license required and flexibility for 0–1 in 4 on-call rota is noted.

Qualifications

• Must hold ACS Domestic Gas CCN1.
• Ideally hold ACS Commercial Gas COCN1 CODNCO1.
• Commercial Catering (COMCAT) advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, breakdown and repair works on boilers independently.
• Work mobile across sites within a 90 minute/50 mile radius of home address.
• Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 with potential on-call rota.

Job description

Gas Engineer | Commercial Environments | £55,000 - £60,000 base salary | Earning potential up to £80,000 per annum | PAYE - Paid Weekly | Van & Employment Package Provided.

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineers to carry out servicing and breakdown works within Commercial Environments in/around Surrey and surrounding areas.

For the Gas Engineer position, we are happy to review applications from both qualified Commercial Gas Engineers and Domestic Gas Engineers who have experience working within live, commercial use environments.

The Gas Engineer will be working on a mobile basis across schools, care homes, nurseries, pubs, restaurants, gyms and similar environments.

Employment Package:

• Base Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
• Estimated earnings: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
• Contracted Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm (flexible)
• Company van, fuel card, pension, uniform, phone provided.
• Paid overtime available between x1.5 - x2 rates.
• Company van + fuel card provided, alongside uniform, phone, pension etc
• Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
• Location/radius: Local area, Up to maximum of 90 minute / 50 mile radius of home address.

• Call out rota: Positions offering both 0 on-call OR 1 in 4 weeks.

Requirements:

• Must hold current ACS Domestic Gas: CCN1
• Ideally hold ACS Commercial Gas: COCN1 / CODNCO1
• Commercial Catering is advantageous but not essential: COMCAT
• Must be comfortable carrying out servicing, breakdown and repair works on boilers independently.
• Must have a driving license with 9 points of less.
