Job summary

British Gas is seeking a Gas Engineer to join our team in Richmond, Surrey. You will represent British Gas in customers’ homes, delivering same‑day fixes and exceptional service while working with a range of boilers and heating systems.

The role requires 3+ years of fault finding experience, electrical knowledge, and current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1). A London weighting allowance may apply.

Qualifications

• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1).
• 3 years qualified experience of fault finding and diagnosis.
• Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S‑plan, Y‑plan and combination boiler systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent British Gas in customers' homes with support from managers, mentors and colleagues.
• Provide outstanding customer experience on every visit.
• Join a team of Gas Engineers to ensure same‑day fixes for customers.
• Work with various boilers and heating systems as essential experience.
• Role based in Richmond, Surrey.

About Your Role

• Base Salary is £47,303 plus up to £6,400 London weighting allowance (Dependent on area) with uncapped OTE - £62,640 (Including LWA) is a realistic expectation through our fantastic field reward scheme.
• Represent British Gas in customers' homes, with support from managers, mentors, and colleagues. Experience with various boilers and heating systems is essential.
