Ganymede Energy is recruiting a Gas Repair Engineer to diagnose faults with central heating systems and carry out boiler repairs in customers' homes across the UK. You'll use fault-finding skills and a multi-meter to diagnose faults, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible.

The role offers a base salary of £52,830 with a £3,000 guaranteed first-year bonus, 40 hours per week with seasonal variations, overtime and call-out opportunities, and a strong pension.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 and CKR1 required.
• Strong experience diagnosing and repairing domestic boiler breakdowns.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good customer service and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
• Practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.

Gas Repair Engineer

£52,830 + £3000guaranteed first-year bonus / 40 hours per week / Permanent

Ganymede Energy is working with an established and growing provider of heating and maintenance services across the UK, recruiting for an experienced Gas Repair Engineer to join their team.

The Role

As a Gas Repair Engineer, you'll visit customers in their homes to diagnose faults with central heating systems and carry out the necessary boiler repairs.

This is a role where your technical knowledge and diagnostic skills really matter. You'll be dealing with a variety of boiler breakdowns, identifying the cause of the problem and working towards a safe and effective first-time fix wherever possible. You'll need to be confident with fault-finding and have a good understanding of basic electrical systems, including using a multi-meter to help diagnose boiler faults.

You'll be working independently for much of the day, but you won't be on your own. You'll have the support of an experienced team, along with access to dedicated training and field-based coaching to help you continue developing your skills.

About you

We're looking for an experienced Gas Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, takes pride in getting things right and is comfortable working directly with customers in their homes.

You’ll need:

• CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1
• Strong experience diagnosing and repairing domestic boiler breakdowns
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A good understanding of basic electrical systems
• Confidence using a multi-meter to diagnose faults
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Good customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers
• A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving
