Job summary

Workchain is recruiting a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to service, maintain and repair domestic heating systems across Leicestershire and the surrounding areas. This field-based role offers long-term stability, generous overtime earning potential, and the security of permanent employment with no on-call rota.

You will work directly with customers, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Gas Safe regulations, providing professional advice and meticulous paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer.
• Experience servicing and repairing domestic boiler systems.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and maintenance on domestic heating systems
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on a variety of boiler systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical advice to customers
• Complete all relevant paperwork and job records accurately
• Maintain a professional approach whilst working within customers' homes

The Role

As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of domestic heating systems and boiler installations. You will work directly with customers, providing a professional and reliable service while ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Full UK Driving Licence

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis

Overtime available during busy periods
