Red Rock Consultants Ltd in West Midlands is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a long-standing, family-run plumbing and heating business. You will service, maintain and repair domestic gas appliances, delivering high workmanship and customer care.

The role covers the West Midlands region, with a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule, a competitive salary of £40,000–£42,000 and company van with fuel card, plus generous leave and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration and domestic gas qualifications.
• Previous experience in a domestic gas engineering role.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs on boilers and central heating systems.
• Undertake gas safety inspections and relevant certification.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation; deliver excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will cover the West Midlands area, carrying out domestic gas servicing, maintenance, repairs, and fault finding while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs on boilers and central heating systems.
• Undertake gas safety inspections and relevant certification.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business professionally.
• Work independently while contributing to a supportive, established team.
