Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer (Chelmsford / Colchester)

Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Chelmsford & Colchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.

Gas Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
2. Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
3. Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
4. Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualifications
2. Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, with strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
3. In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
4. Full UK driving licence
5. No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check)
