Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a Gas Coordinator to lead the Domestic Gas Servicing, Maintenance & Installation works across our Housing Stock. You will supervise, organise and coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of safety and service delivery.

The role requires Gas Safe Registration, SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Gas, a driving licence, and awareness of current legislation. HNC in Building discipline and CMDDA1 are desirable.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Gas is essential with Gas Safe Registration.
• A current driving licence is essential.
• HNC in Building related discipline or equivalent and CMDDA1 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations for Domestic Gas Servicing, Maintenance & Installation across Falkirk Council's Housing Stock.
• Demonstrate proven experience in Gas Service delivery and contract management including procurement and financial responsibilities.
• Maintain high standards by keeping up-to-date with current and emerging gas regulations and safety standards.

Education

SVQ Level 3 in Gas or City & Guilds in Gas

HNC in Building related discipline or equivalent
