Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a Gas R&M Contracts Officer to join the Building Maintenance team. You will support the Gas Coordinator by supervising domestic gas servicing, maintenance and installation works across Falkirk Council housing stock.

The ideal candidate will have proven gas service delivery and contract management experience, with Gas Safe registration and the required qualifications. A current driving licence is essential, and PVG clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic gas service delivery and contract management.
• Understanding of current and emerging gas regulations and standards.
• SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Gas (essential) with Gas Safe Registration.
• Full UK driving license (essential).
• CMDDA1 is desirable.
• PVG scheme membership may be required.

Responsibilities

• Help supervise, organise and manage day-to-day gas servicing, maintenance and installation works.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support Gas Coordinator in contract management for Falkirk Council's housing stock.
