Job summary

MMP Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Compliance Manager (Electrical & Gas) for a leading social housing contractor in South West London. You will own the delivery and performance of electrical and gas compliance across a large housing contract.

You will work with senior leadership, client representatives and specialist contractors to strengthen governance, monitor performance against KPIs, and ensure statutory obligations are consistently achieved.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical and gas compliance programmes.
• Experience in social housing, housing association, local authority, or contractor environments.
• Detailed knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to residential housing assets.
• Experience managing contractors and monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Strong governance, auditing, and compliance monitoring expertise.
• Track record of reviewing operational processes and driving service improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Proactive approach with a commitment to compliance excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational management of electrical and gas compliance activities across the contract.
• Review, develop, and strengthen compliance governance processes and controls.
• Monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs and service level standards.
• Manage key subcontractor relationships, ensuring accountability for performance and compliance.
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements are achieved and maintained.
• Review reporting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive consistency across management information and compliance reporting frameworks.
• Analyse performance data and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Conduct audits and reviews of compliance processes, systems, and contractor outputs.
• Identify compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the compliance function.
• Work collaboratively with clients and operational teams to ensure service delivery objectives are met.
