Job summary

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a Workforce Planning Systems Co-ordinator to support the Workforce Planning Systems Lead in administering Gartan, rostering, on-call and payroll modules to ensure operational readiness.

You will maintain staff availability data, assist managers with resourcing decisions, and oversee system access and security, with a pro rata starting salary of £16,289 and a Scale 6 band of £32,578–£34,811, plus generous benefits.

Responsibilities

• Administering the workforce planning systems (Gartan) to manage operational staff availability and ensure sufficient on-duty personnel.
• Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff relating to issues and queries about the systems.
• Manage the levels of system access and user permissions for the Gartan workforce planning systems to ensure security and integrity of the systems.
• Collate information relating to the Officers rota on a monthly basis and populate a master rota with changes as needed.
