Job summary
Longleat Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated grounds and gardens operative to maintain the outdoor spaces across the Longleat estate. You will perform mowing, hedge trimming, bedding maintenance and litter clearance to support guest experience.
The role requires practical experience in gardening or horticulture, with a strong focus on safety, presentation and efficient work planning. A permanent 39 hour contract covers 5 days out of 7, with a rotating schedule including weekends, evenings and
Qualifications
- Hands-on gardening and grounds maintenance experience.
- Ability to mow, hedge trim, bed maintenance, and litter clearance.
- Confident with garden machinery and routine maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to presentation, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Carry out grounds and gardens maintenance in outdoor environments year-round.
- Perform turf care: mowing, aeration, repair of damaged areas.
- Assist with hard and soft landscaping tasks.
- Maintain work areas and equipment to high standards.
