Job summary

UK Mission Enterprise Limited seeks a Gardener (Permanent) to maintain private and communal grounds across the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for lawn mowing, shrub borders, turf, bedding, gravel paths and water features.

The role requires garden maintenance experience and knowledge of plants, with training in spraying and chainsaw appreciated. The successful candidate will work with a can-do attitude to deliver high-quality outdoor maintenance.

Qualifications

• Garden maintenance experience is essential.
• Spraying course PA1/PA6 desirable.
• Chainsaw maintenance / cross-cutting course desirable.
• Gardening qualification desirable.
• Extensive plant knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns to required standards.
• Maintain shrubs and herbaceous borders to standards.
• Manage turf maintenance including dew removal, debris clearance, reseeding and summer watering.
• Prepare and maintain seasonal bedding, pots and weed control.
• Level, rake and repair gravel paths as needed.
• Ensure site is free of rubbish and waste.
• Trim hedge lines, maintain edging around trees.
• Thin fruit, water and harvest as required.
• Control pond weed and preserve water features.
• Maintain woodlands to required standards.
• Maintain gravel drives and clear inflatables when present.
• Any tasks requested by management within scope of position.
