Job summary

Stowe School is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team. The role covers all aspects of amenity horticulture, including maintenance of gardens and beds, shrubbery management, and general grounds care.

The site spans approximately 880 acres of historic landscape, with world-famous gardens and extensive grounds to maintain. You should hold a full driving license and be able to work well in a team as well as use your own initiative and be a self-starter.

Qualifications

• Full driving license is required.
• Experience in amenity horticulture preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens and beds as part of amenity horticulture.
• Manage shrubbery and general grounds care.
• Assist with cylinder mowing and related lawn maintenance.
