Job summary

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in amenity horticulture or Sports Ground practices, or related discipline.
- Full, current driving licence is essential for this role.
- Able to operate a wide range of powered machinery including tractors and other equipment used in sports grounds maintenance & amenity horticulture.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a wide range of sports grounds areas to a high standard, including marking out playing surfaces and turf/ artificial surface upkeep.
- Prepare, care for and maintain amenity landscapes across university grounds; plant perennials and shrubs.
- Support university events such as Graduations and open days.
- Drive between campus sites to support grounds operations (valid licence required).
