Job summary

Hillier Garden Centre Weyhill is seeking two friendly Garden Centre Assistants to join the team. You will help create a welcoming customer experience, offer product advice, and keep the centre clean, well-stocked and ready for trade.

Roles are permanent with 23.75 or 15.75 hours per week on a rota, including some weekends. Benefits include training, a 20% staff discount, and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail/garden centre environment.
• Interest in plants and gardening products.
• Team-oriented and able to work flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with queries.
• Advise on plants and gardening products sold in the centre.
• Maintain plant health including watering, pruning and checking for pests or disease.
