Garage Technician/Handyman Needed - East London - E6

Our client, one of the leading body shops in the automotive industry with over 30 years of experience in Repair, Maintenance & Accident management services, is looking for a technician/handyman to come in and support. Roles are all permanent basis and have great opportunities to progress over time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parts Management: Check in parts by verifying against invoices, labeling, and organizing them in designated areas.
2. Returns Handling: Coordinate returns with parts supplier drivers.
3. Vehicle Transfers: Move completed cars from our garage to a nearby car park (a 2-minute drive).
4. Vehicle Retrievals: Bring cars from our car park to the garage for repair upon technician request.
5. Customer Handovers: Return completed cars from the car park to the garage for customer collection.
6. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist the General Manager and Director with any additional duties as required.
7. Front of House Support: Address customer inquiries and provide support as needed.

What We're Looking For:

1. A reliable team player with a proactive attitude.
2. A valid driver's license is essential.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Effective communication skills to handle front-of-house inquiries.

Salary & Hours:
GBP12.82 per hour
40 Paid Hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
