Job summary

Halfords Careers is looking for a Garage Support Specialist to provide day-to-day operational support to our garages and act as a key link between garages, field teams and the Support Centre. You will help translate central plans into practical solutions on the ground and drive continuous improvement across the network.

Based at our Support Centre in Redditch with a hybrid working arrangement (2 days on site, 3 days remote), you will contribute to high service standards and strong communication

Qualifications

• Experience in autocentre environments is essential.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, changing conditions.
• Strong initiative to identify improvements and see them through.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to garages, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and consistently.
• Act as a liaison between garages, field teams, and the Support Centre for clear communication and feedback.
• Support communications to ensure messages are understood by garages and field teams.
• Translate central plans into practical field solutions and gather feedback for improvement.
• Support delivery of key initiatives and projects within garages and capture feedback to drive improvements.
• Identify recurring garage issues and take action or escalate as needed to enhance processes.
• Maintain understanding of garage operations to ensure relevant, practical support.
• Occasionally visit sites to support implementation and engagement with field teams.
