What You Will Be Doing
- Reporting to the Head in the UK, your main responsibility is to build relationships with merchants from scratch.
- Attend industry events and networking conferences.
- Proactively contact partners via email, LinkedIn, telephone, and face-to-face meetings. Achieve and document minimum KPI activity levels as set by the UK Head.
- Assist the team during onboarding by collecting and pre-vetting due diligence documentation.
- Provide market insights, feedback, and opportunities to the product team.
We Are Looking For
- At least 3+ years of successful experience in business development roles, with a consistent record of exceeding targets, including 2+ years in banking/payments.
- Experience selling products to SMEs and large businesses.
- Familiarity with leading CRMs and strong analytical skills regarding sales statistics and KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to remove blockers, drive continuous improvement, and manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.
- Hands-on attitude, eager to close big deals and develop strategic partnerships.
