Job summary

Light & Wonder in Manchester is seeking a Quality Assurance Software Tester to ensure our games perform as intended before players see them. You will test functionality, usability, performance and compliance, working closely with developers, artists and product teams to deliver high-quality experiences.

This onsite role involves executing tests across gaming products, creating test cases, logging defects, and supporting multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Passion for gaming and delivering exceptional player experiences.
• Experience in software testing/QA environments.
• Understanding of QA processes and software development lifecycles.
• Experience executing functional, usability and performance testing.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, usability, performance and compliance testing across gaming products and software platforms.
• Verify games meet product requirements, quality standards and regulatory expectations.
• Identify, reproduce and document software defects clearly and accurately.
• Track issues through resolution and support retesting activities.
• Investigate and reproduce issues reported from the field and provide detailed findings.
• Create, maintain and enhance test cases, test plans and test scripts.
• Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure product stability.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting testing deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
• Contribute ideas to improve testing approaches, tools and QA processes.
• Provide testing support across different Light & Wonder teams as required.
• Complete additional testing activities assigned by Senior Testers and Test Leads.
