Job summary

Light & Wonder seeks a QA Software Tester to ensure gaming software and hardware perform as intended before release. You will work onsite at the Chadderton office, testing functionality, usability, performance and regulatory compliance with a collaborative, detail-oriented team.

You will document defects, create test plans, execute regressions and support multiple projects while aligning with product teams and senior testers. A passion for gaming and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing environments and QA practices.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience executing functional, usability and performance testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, usability, performance and compliance tests across gaming software and hardware.
• Verify games meet requirements, quality standards and regulatory expectations.
• Identify, reproduce and document defects clearly; track through resolution.
• Create and maintain test cases, plans and scripts; perform regression tests.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to improve quality.
• Provide testing support across Light & Wonder teams and assist senior testers as needed.

As a Quality Assurance Software Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring our games perform exactly as intended before reaching players around the world.Working closely with developers, artists and product teams, you'll test game functionality, usability, performance and compliance requirements, identifying issues and helping deliver reliable, engaging, high-quality gaming experiences.We're looking for someone who is passionate about gaming, naturally curious, detail-oriented and motivated to continuously improve the quality of our products and processes.Work Pattern: This role is fully onsite at our Chadderton office, five days per week.
