Job summary

Flix Interactive Ltd is seeking an Intermediate QA Tester to help deliver high-quality game and live-service experiences across PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. You’ll identify defects, verify fixes, and collaborate with developers to improve testing processes and release readiness.

The role supports remote or West Midlands-based work, with a focus on thorough test coverage and clear QA reporting. You will join a passionate team in a studio that values quality, collaboration, and ongoing learning

Qualifications

• Experience testing games with a strong QA mindset and industry-standard practices.
• Experience testing live-service games, patches, content updates, events, and post-launch changes.
• Familiarity with testing on PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
• Good understanding of defect reporting, reproduction steps, test cases, regression testing and test planning.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage multiple testing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough testing across gameplay features, systems, user interfaces, game content, and live-service updates.
• Test patches, events, content releases, and service changes to ensure reliable player experiences pre- and post-release.
• Identify, reproduce, and clearly report defects with steps, evidence, and expected vs actual results.
• Support testing across platforms, ensuring platform-specific issues are identified and tracked.
• Contribute to test plans, test cases, and coverage tracking to test features and live updates consistently.
