Job summary

Rebellion in Oxford or Warwick seeks an Animator to craft engaging gameplay animations for a 3rd-person tactical shooter. You’ll ensure cohesion with project specs and artistic vision while collaborating across teams.

You’ll work with Maya/MotionBuilder and our engines, polishing motion capture data, and mentoring juniors under leadership guidance. A relocation package is available to support a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to create high-quality gameplay animations.
• Strong understanding of timing, spacing and acting in animation.
• Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines to deliver cohesive sequences.

Responsibilities

• Create consistent high-quality gameplay character and creature animations.
• Utilize timing, weighting, ease in/out and secondary motion to craft 3D animations.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to interpret feedback and integrate into assets.
• Develop understanding of our custom engine and tools via related game engines.
