Job summary

Rebellion is seeking an Animator to craft captivating gameplay animations for a new 3rd person tactical shooter. The role supports relocation to the UK studios in Oxford or Warwick and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will transform motion capture data into polished in-game animation, align with technical specs and artistic direction, and collaborate with a world-class team across multiple studios for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Maya or MotionBuilder or equivalent animation software.
• Ability to animate realistic character and creature motion.
• Collaborate with technical animators on rigging and skinning and work within production pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Create consistent high-quality gameplay character and creature animations.
• Apply timing, weight, exaggeration, easing, anticipation and secondary motion in 3D animations.
• Understand production pipelines and best practices, and adapt to workflows.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to implement engaging animations and iterate on feedback.
• Learn and work with our custom engine and tools.
• Polish motion capture data to a high standard and clean data.
• Track progress using JIRA and report day-to-day tasks.
