Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is recruiting a Trainee Transport Planner to start a career in Haulage at Ballyclare/Ballynure. You will receive structured, hands-on training across transport planning, fleet operations and customer service while being supported by experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Planning team with day-to-day coordination of transport operations.
• Assist with planning vehicle movements, routes, deliveries and collections to meet customer requirements.
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, collections, deliveries and updates.
• Input, maintain and update information in the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Assist with customer enquiries and provide timely updates on deliveries and collections.
• Monitor operational systems, emails and reports, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Maintain transport documentation and records in line with procedures.
• Collaborate with Planners, drivers and other departments to support efficient operation.
• Participate in the training programme to become a qualified Transport Planner.
