Job summary

HMGCC is offering an Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship, a 42‑month programme leading to a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship with an embedded HNC in Engineering. Starting salary is £22,176, rising annually after each year’s completion.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade C/4-5 or above including English Language, Maths and a Science, Technology or Engineering related subject
• 2 A-Levels at Grade A*-C (preferably STEM)
• BTEC Level 3 Engineering with minimum 90 credits

Responsibilities

• Learn skills on the job and through placements across manufacturing and wider business
• Work with a team to complete projects in a purpose-built advanced manufacturing facility
• Develop engineering knowledge through training provider and on-the-job training
• Support manufacturing processes and problem solving as part of the scheme
