Job summary

Realise in Horley is offering an Apprenticeship in Early Years for individuals passionate about children's development. You will work towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in our nursery.

You'll learn under qualified staff, contribute to activities, observe children's progress and complete the required on‑the‑job training as part of your rota.

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English at grade 4/C or higher required.
• Willing to complete Level 3 apprenticeship alongside role.
• On-the-job training provided by employer.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and evaluate activities for children from birth to five years.
• Care and education of children in the room within a key person structure.
• Support an engaging environment including layout and displays.
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly nursery checks.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare at all times.
• Work within the EYFS Statutory Framework.
• Support qualified staff with daily routines.
• Learn nursery nurse skills on the job.
• Provide high quality childcare to children.
• Understand safety responsibilities and your role.
• Never be left unsupervised with children.
• Contribute to observations and records when required.
