Job summary

Realise in Haslemere is inviting candidates to start a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience while training. You will work within a nursery team, following the EYFS framework and developing skills under qualified staff.

You will complete on‑the‑job training and 20% off‑the‑job learning during your working day, with progression towards a Level 3 Diploma and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in working with children to help them develop
• Willing to complete functional skills alongside apprenticeship
• Good work ethic and effective communication
• GCSE Maths and English at least 4/C or above

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and evaluate activities for children from birth to five years
• Care for children in the room within a key person structure
• Support environment and displays, ensure equal opportunities
• Assist with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery
• Safeguarding and welfare of the children at all times
• Work to the EYFS Statutory Framework
• Learn nursery nurse skills on the job
• Provide high quality childcare to our children
• Understand the importance of safety and your role
• Never be left unsupervised with the children
• Gain understanding of child development and observations
