Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) in Culham, England, seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead planning, design and delivery of construction projects within our Estates team, ensuring safety, cost and quality. The role requires regular onsite presence (3–5 days a week) and supports flexible working arrangements.

You will coordinate internal and external design teams, manage budgets and risks, apply BIM Level 2 and CDM Regulations, and maintain building specifications for multipurpose

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or construction discipline.
• Chartered membership or equivalent with a professional body.
• Proven experience delivering design and construction projects.
• Experience delivering publicly funded projects and regulatory procedures.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 and CDM Regulations.
• Strong budget, programme and risk-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, development and delivery of construction projects per strategy.
• Provide input into civil, mechanical and electrical designs.
• Coordinate internal and external design teams.
• Manage stakeholders and ensure design standards.
• Develop building specifications for facilities.
• Manage budgets, contracts, programmes and reporting.
• Identify, report project and organisational risks.
• Apply BIM Level 2 on projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and UKAEA procedures.
• Use ASITE to support delivery.
