Job summary

Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd in Preston seeks an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer for a busy engineering business on an initial three-month contract.

You'll design bespoke machinery with moving parts and automated systems, develop concepts into complete assemblies and manufacturing drawings in Fusion 360, and support production with documentation and stress analyses. Rate up to £35/hr ltd, 40 hours per week, immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Fusion 360 for designing mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to develop concepts into detailed assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with stress analysis or structural considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and mechanical designs using Autodesk Fusion 360.
• Develop components and concepts into complete mechanical assemblies ready for manufacture.
• Design bespoke machinery with moving parts, mechanisms and automated systems.
• Support stress analysis, structural calculations and associated technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
