Job summary

The role involves applying lacquers and paints with spray equipment (AC and water-based), colour spraying/matching customer colours, and ensuring high-quality finishes.

You will work to tight deadlines, maintain a safe, clean spray shop, and contribute to continuous improvement through teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Furniture Polisher or in a similar finishing environment.
• Proven experience spraying lacquers and paints, including AC and water-based products.
• Experience with colour spraying and matching customer colours.
• Knowledge of maintaining a spray shop and following safe working practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Flexible and positive approach; strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Apply lacquers and paints using spray equipment, including AC and water-based products.
• Carry out colour spraying and colour matching to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Work to meet production targets and tight customer deadlines.
• Maintain the spray shop to a high standard, including cleaning and safety practices.
• Follow all HSE requirements and procedures.
• Identify and report issues affecting quality, safety or production.
• Support other production activities as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
