Job summary

A leading provider of bespoke furniture solutions is looking for a furniture installer to join their team. The role includes installing furniture and graphics on-site, maintaining warehouse stock, and requires a full clean driving license. The position includes staying away from home up to 2 nights per week with accommodation and allowances provided. Overtime is available for hours beyond standard working time.

Overview

Monday Friday 07 30 1 /2 nights away per week. My client are one of the leading providers of bespoke purpose built furniture to national housebuilders throughout the UK. Due to rapid expansion and new contract wins they have an opening for an additional furniture installer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Loading / un loading of vehicles ready for distribution to site
• Installing furniture and graphics on site
• Using hand tools to assemble furniture on site
• Installation of graphics and signs to site walls
• Collection of finished goods from sites throughout the Uk
• Maintaining stock and cleanliness of warehouse
• Supporting with monthly / annual stock control in the warehouse
• Driving company vehicles to sites throughout the UK

Skills/Experience Required

• Full clean driving license
• Joinery / furniture assembly skills
• Experienced in using hand tools
• Problem solving and attention to detail
• You must be physically fit due to heavy lifting required
• CSCS card an advantage but not essential

This role will require staying 1 possibly 2 nights out per week. Accommodation will be provided along with a GBP40 per night allowance. Overtime is paid at T after 8.5 hours per day. Start times may vary dependent on travel to sites but overtime will be paid.
