Job summary

Driver Hire Doncaster is recruiting a Temp-to-Perm Class 2 Driver to support a busy furniture distribution operation across the UK. You will deliver sofas, armchairs and other upholstered items with up to six drops per day, using trolleys and handling equipment to minimise manual handling.

The role offers a competitive rate with bonuses, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and a clear path to Class 1 progression. Temp-to-perm job security is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Class 2 experience.
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
• Physically capable of manoeuvring furniture using trolleys/equipment.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture products to customers across multiple UK locations.
• Complete up to six drops per day depending on the route.
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation of all items.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and records.
